Job TA - STUDIES & DESIGN

Responsibilities
  • Production of design deliverables (e.g. drawings, reports or calculations) to agreed standards of safety, cost, quality and time.
  • Where appropriate, may be required to train and develop others.
  • Involvement in improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Comply with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and processes applicable to the role.
Additional Details
  • Full-time, permanent, 37-hours a week
  • Travel may be required on occasion between Orano offices and Client sites
  • Hybrid working - 3 days minimum in the office each week, flexible working
  • Free on-site parking
Security

The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Have a BEng (Hons) or MEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience as a Process Engineer, Chemical Engineer or Design Engineer on Nuclear site or a highly regulated site.
  • Chartered member of the IChemE or suitable experience.
  • Experienced in supporting the production & development of process discipline documents and demonstrating the capability to work within a team.
  • Experienced in supporting process engineering coordination tasks as part of a team, demonstrating the capability to work within a team.
  • Experience of delivering projects for Sellafield or AWE sites (desirable).
  • Experience in POCO or decommissioning (highly desirable).
