Drive process excellence across national water programmes
Purpose and scope of the roleTetra Tech is recruiting multiple Senior Process Engineers to lead process design and optimisation for long term water and wastewater frameworks across the UK, including a £100m United Utilities single award for river health in the North West. You will deliver and review process designs, PFDs, control philosophies, equipment specifications and performance assessments for treatment works and pumping assets. Daily activities include technical leadership of multi disciplinary teams, client liaison, digital design methodology application and assurance of compliance with legislative, safety and quality standards on multi million pound programmes.
Your impact in this positionYou will immediately raise the standard of process deliverables and client confidence. Over the medium term you will lead complex design packages, develop low carbon and cost efficient solutions and support digital tool development for process optimisation.
Expected: degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline. Desirable: postgraduate qualifications and professional membership (IChemE, CIWEM) or working towards chartership.
Work patterns & locationsHybrid working across UK regional offices with regular site visits; typical office attendance 2-3 days per week. Flexible arrangements considered to support delivery and development.
