Nuclear Senior Process Engineer (Full-time / Part-time)

AtkinsRéalis is growing its team of process engineers in the Nuclear EMEA business and is looking for highly motivated individuals to work on exciting projects.

Work collaboratively to solve technical challenges across the entire project lifecycle, from concept design to decommissioning. Activities include:

• Producing process engineering deliverables such as process sizing calculations, heat & material balances, P&IDs, etc.
• Process modelling and optimisation.
• Process safety activities, including HAZID/HAZOP studies and DSEAR assessments.
• Providing technical expertise to clients and supporting project delivery.

Qualified engineers with a BEng/MEng in Chemical or Process Engineering. IChemE chartership is desirable. Experience in the nuclear industry is ideal, but understanding of nuclear basics is expected. Familiarity with chemical process simulation software, model-based systems approach (MBSA), and strong communication skills are required. Experience leading a small team and engaging clients is preferred.
