Position: Senior Process Engineer
Location: Warrington or Abingdon (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours
37 hours per week - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist engineering support across a range of design activities within regulated environments.
- Produce and review engineering deliverables such as calculations, reports, and design documentation to meet required standards for safety, cost, quality, and schedule.
- Contribute to the development of efficient process designs, provide technical guidance, and support continuous improvement of engineering systems and practices.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, coordinate team activities, and ensure work is delivered effectively.
- Identify technical risks and uncertainties and raise them appropriately to support informed decision making.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering (BEng or MEng).
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Process, Chemical or Design Engineer.
- Experience working within nuclear or other highly regulated environments.
- Chartered status (IChemE) or equivalent experience.
- Experience producing and developing process engineering documentation.
- Strong team working and technical delivery experience.
- Experience on Sellafield, AWE, or similar regulated nuclear sites is desirable.
