The SABIC Bergen op Zoom facilities manufacture plastics in the form of high grade pellets and sheets that enable our customers to product a wide range of end products. Our maintenance organization maintains all production assets on site with corrective, preventive and condition based maintenance. Basic Function The Olefins Production Engineer will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize operating units to drive process and product improvements in the La Porte Olefins (QE-1) Furnace area.  During a typical day they will apply technical knowledge to detect causes of deviations in quality, capacity, yield, and energy consumption.  The individual will identify, collaborate, recommend, document, and implement initiatives to improve unit performance, with the goal of capturing incremental production at the lowest cost.
