Basic Function This role provides front end project definition, development, installation and check out support as part of a production engineering department for the Lyondellbasell Syngas-Methanol Units at the LaPorte TX complex.  This role will work with a separate capital project group at the site that manages the detailed project engineering.  The Syngas and Methanol unit consist of 3 partial oxidation reactor systems, an 11 process equipment coldbox, methanol unit, H2 compression, boiler, flares, waste water system, and cooling tower.   Roles & Responsibilities •    Develop and implement projects to improve and sustain value in the areas of process safety, environment, production, cost, and quality. •    Support the project group with issues that occur as part of detailed engineering  •    Coordinate the actions of several departments necessary...
