What’s the role?
As a Corrosion and Materials Engineer (CME), you will be a key member of the Pressure Equipment Integrity (PEI) Department for the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park - Norco. You will be one of several CME’s who provide corrosion and materials support to the site. Also, you will be part of a team of PEI Engineers and Inspectors who are responsible for managing pressure equipment integrity at Norco. The PEI Department reports through the Engineering organization.
You will be involved in evaluating many exciting projects occurring at Norco, including circular plastics assessment, vegetable oil co-processing, renewable naphtha feeds, and more!
Accountabilities:
You will contribute to pressure equipment integrity and process safety by fostering corrosion awareness, developing monitoring and mitigation plans, and providing technical support on corrosion and materials selection issues. Other responsibilities for the position...
