Basic Function The Process Safety and PHA Engineer is a process safety leader for the LyondellBasell Bayport Complex.  A primary focus for the individual will be to actively participate and lead the PHA and HAZOP process at the complex.  The individual will be a key participant in all the PSM programs as well as identifying improvements to existing programs and developing and implementing improvement solutions. Purpose & Accountabilities Reporting to the Technical Safety Engineering Supervisor, this position is accountable for providing engineered safety support to identify potential hazards and prevent loss of process containment. The role provides domain experienced knowledge related to process safety practices, regulatory requirements, RAGAGEP and risk identification / mitigation measures.
