Basic Function The Process Safety and PHA Engineer is a process safety leader for the LyondellBasell Bayport Complex.  A primary focus for the individual will be to actively participate and lead the PHA and HAZOP process at the complex.  The individual will be a key participant in all the PSM programs as well as identifying improvements to existing programs and developing and implementing improvement solutions. Purpose & Accountabilities Reporting to the Technical Safety Engineering Supervisor, this position is accountable for providing engineered safety support to identify potential hazards and prevent loss of process containment.
