Senior / Principal Process Engineer

Our client is an independent process engineering consultancy serving the high-tech and chemicals industries. It has enjoyed year on year growth based on its success in achieving strong partnerships with customers in the UK and Europe. “Process led', the company offers a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to the conceptual response to client business/ user needs where the emphasis is on developing genuinely innovative, bespoke, optimally cost - effective solutions rather than the application of standard designs. Process engineers work in comprehensive project teams that include architects and building services specialists to engineer complete production buildings.    

The current focus is on hiring a process engineer to lead the process delivery within a project environment executing a mixture of consultancy and design work across several industry sectors, but primarily within the advanced technologies, chemical and industrial sectors. The role requires an experienced process engineer capable of demonstrating a strong knowledge of process design deliverables from concept through to detailed execution. It is anticipated that the individual is a Chartered or near Chartered Engineer with significant experience of existing and novel concept design, technology scale- up, roll out and transfer. Candidates should have the flexibility and breadth of experience to respond to clients with diverse business and engineering needs including pilot and demonstration plant support, large scale full production facility engineering, feasibility studies, FEED and detailed design and commissioning. Significant experience of innovative fuel manufacturing processes such as biomass/anaerobic gasification, carbonate fuel cells, syngas/ reforming, carbon capture, advanced refinery processes etc, is highly desirable.
