Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is looking to hire a Process Engineer for its mining and metals business line.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Functions:
- Develop technical-economic documentation for the different projects in the portfolio: Process Design Criteria, Calculation Reports, Material and Energy Balances, Process Narratives, Operating Philosophies, OPEX Cost Estimates, among others, in accordance with the standards of the Discipline and the Company.
- Design Block Diagrams, Flow Diagrams and have solid knowledge in reviewing and editing P&ID's.
- Knowledge of hydrometallurgical processes, ideally in chlorinated leaching and copper oxide operations.
- Knowledge of Mineral Concentration processes: Crushing-Grinding-Classification, Mineral Flotation and Solid-Liquid Separation.
- Ideally, knowledge of metallurgical software: Metsim, JKSimMet, Aggflow, Molycop-Tools, among others.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- Metallurgical, Chemical or Mining Civil Engineer, with at least 3 years of experience in mining-metallurgical processes.
- Sufficient level of English for writing executive and technical documents.
- Class B driver's license (at least 1 year).
- Health compatible for visits to mining sites.
