At Lilly in Germany, we are currently planning and building a high-tech production facility in Alzey (Rhineland-Palatinate), which will expand our production of injectable medicines from 2027 and employ up to 1,000 specialists. process engineer

As a process engineer, you are responsible for the smooth running of the production processes. You ensure that the production facilities function properly and meet all requirements. At the same time, you continuously drive improvement efforts.

What tasks await you?

• With your know-how of systems and processes, you analyze the cause of system and operational problems, deviations or failures and ensure the solution through suitable countermeasures.
• You will conduct cross-functional, data-driven discussions on asset performance to identify and prioritize optimization initiatives (e.g. bottleneck analysis, root cause elimination, batch start solutions).
• You ensure the use of appropriate methods to document changes, maintenance work and interventions (change controls, work orders, service tickets).
• You review and improve spare parts lists, system component classifications and preventive maintenance plans to ensure plant effectiveness and reliability and identify optimization opportunities (process changes, upgrades, projects, etc.).

• You communicate effectively with process teams, customers, engineering technicians and craftsmen.
• You are the contact person for training, coaching and collaboration with process teams, including operations, maintenance and engineering.
• You are good at prioritizing tasks based on their impact on business needs.

How do you convince us?

• You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent professional experience).
• You have extensive knowledge of the software packages Excel, PowerBi, etc.
• You are communicative and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment
• You have an understanding of infrastructure/telecommunications.
• You have good German and English skills
• Place of work is Alzey

• Previous experience as a process engineer is desirable.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
