Under the direction of the Senior Supply Chain Manager, he directs and coordinates all manufacturing activities and programs within the Engineering area. Responsible for participating in the development and implementation of transfer plans. Develops, maintains, and improves all Business Processes under your supervision. Participates in day-to-day operations with responsibility in the production of products at the lowest cost, consistent with quality control specifications and production schedules. Directs and coordinates activities of one or more engineering programs within operations, in support of production and / or in the development of new products for the Business Units. These programs may include Manufacturing/Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Systems, Transfer Processes, Technology Development, Tools (Design, Manufacturing, Assembly, Procurement and Calibration) and Plant/Equipment Maintenance. Manages and works on problems of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors; selects methods and techniques for troubleshooting. Directs and coordinates Engineering Managers to reach production goals / NPI consistent with costs, high quality, profitability, and delivery times required. Interact with the New Product Development process to generate processes and introduce plans for new products. It gives direction and adapts the tests and recommends changes in the processes and designs. Directs, coordinates, and executes the principles of Project Management, methods, tools and techniques for effective planning, programs, organizes, controls, integrates and terminates projects with the required scope and time, either performing the activities personally or through subordinates. Individually you must demonstrate creativity, foresight, and ability to make judgments, anticipate and solve problems, generate programs to obtain objectives / requirements, organization / leadership in projects and develop standards and guides for technical activities.
