We are looking for the best talent for the SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER position which will be located in Juarez, Chih., Mexico, at the Salvarcar Plant.

Purpose:

Identify and develop internal areas of opportunity through the DMAIIC methodology and process excellence tools in order to reduce the manufacturing cost of products and continue with the culture of continuous improvement and monitoring of quality and regulatory requirements included in the business strategy.

Main responsibilities:

Under Limited Supervision and in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Johnson & Johnson Corporate procedures and guidelines, this position:

• Identify, design and develop the necessary equipment.
• Performs material testing.
• Study the processes to implement improvements.
• Responsible for the preparation and management of specifications.
• Coordinates technicians and engineers on unusual problems.
• Responsible for designing and purchasing equipment and tooling that meets manufacturing, safety and environmental requirements.
• Participate in savings and capital projects
• Responsible for meeting financial metrics
• Responsible for evaluating and developing action plans for compliance with quality, safety, cost, service and regulatory requirements.
• Performs process/product validation activities.
• Supervision Responsibilities Engineers I and II.
• May supervise, coordinate and technically review the work of a limited group of technicians.
• Responsible for evaluating and providing timely feedback on the performance and development plan of his/her staff under his/her charge
• Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next level of management
• For those who supervise or manage staff, they are responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all company guidelines.
• Company related to Health, Safety and Environment practices and that all resources necessary to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
• You are responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State and Local Company regulations, policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Engineering of any specialty.
• Master of Science and/or certification is recommended.
• Preferably 4 to 6 years in a similar position
• Preferably knowledge in medical industry
• Knowledge of good manufacturing and documentation practices, preferably in the medical industry.
• Design of experiments
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools
• Handling statistical procedures.
• Knowledge of computer packages
• Oral and written communication skills in Spanish
• Strong understanding of standard costs and work standards.
• Knowledge of production processes.
• Advanced English
