Main Responsibilities
Ice Cream Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the entire manufacturing process. This role requires staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, as well as leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Effective communication and leadership skills are essential to drive a culture of quality and excellence within the organization.
Improve Factory compliance (consumer safety related) to legal and UL requirements assessment and gap closure verification.
Perform 3G, 5W+1H, 4M, 5WHY analysis made for market quality incident and high severity manufacturing quality (DA) incident
Provide statistical data for SPC and process control capability guarantee product quality.
Collaborate with AM and PM pillars to keep the equipment under basic conditions to make sure AM pillar applying CILT standards and PM pillar eliminating deterioration that are indicated in the process parameter control plan having an impact on AA and A product characteristics
Fully adopt Quality One modules (market quality, manufacturing, E incidents and internal audit module).
Support operations and engineering by identifying process and quality improvement opportunities within the Supply chain.
Through the WCM methodology lead the QM pillar in delivering quality improvements and reduction of defects and complaints through equipment and settings standardization.
Assist in all top customer and consumer complaints analysis, investigations and resolution.
Engage in all technical aspects of new product, packaging and raw material introduction and changes that impact our manufacturing operation from a quality capability point of view.
Interface at plant level between various stake holders (Process Engineering, Production Engineering & Project Engineering) as the Quality Representative for any innovation or CAPEX installations to meet Quality requirements
Develop and coordinate quality training and communication initiatives to ensure uniform application of continuous improvement programs.
Serve as central resource for support in root cause analysis to resolve quality issues across the supply chain.
Deploy HACCP tool to identify, manage and contain all aspects of production process that could lead to consumer harm
Responsible for all Quality Improvement Projects through Capital spend, project expenditure, and cost center budget control for the Quality Department
Candidate Criteria
Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in quality control or quality assurance in the food industry.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
