POSITION SUMMARY
Senior Process Engineer serves as a member of the Pfizer Tuas Process Centric Team that will be responsible for leading product manufacturing campaigns from the start of production, providing technical supervision with respect to quality and EHS until completion and release of the material.
The core role of this position is responsible to work with various stakeholders to assess the robustness of transferring processes and analytical methods to successful completion of New Product Introduction (NPI) technical transfer project, with associated risk reduced to an acceptable level.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Engineering
Develop Manufacturing / Operating Instructions and necessary Standard Operating Procedures.
Develop, maintain and troubleshoot the process control system recipe / models.
Carry out technical assessment for evaluation of processes
Investigate, report and troubleshoot findings on both quality and EHS related issues observed during manufacturing or during batch record review.
Develop, implement and monitor robust preventive measures for processing issues.
Play a pro-active role in ensure the site safety and quality standards are adhered to.
Proactively monitor, identify, develop and implement improvements in processes and equipment.
Communicate on a regular basis to the plant personnel on process updates.
Train the process techinciansand fellow process engineers on the process and procedures as required.
Own one or more multiple equipment / GMP systems in production and present the system overview with evidence compliance to internal and external auditors.
Qualification
Min. degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineeringor Degree in Science with Major in Chemistry
Preferably, 2 – 3 years experience in a relevant manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical and new product introduction).
