Process Engineer - Entry

Responsibilities

• Analyze information and propose innovative solutions to detect areas of opportunity, guarantee operational safety, improve and ensure line continuity and product quality.
• Develop continuous improvement projects that promote the prevention of failures and quality problems, process reliability and development of new products, simultaneously implementing operational excellence practices that help comply with the processes established in the ISO 14001 Safety and Environmental Management System - by focusing on personal safety and the effects on the environment - as well as compliance with global EO plans.
• Apply problem-solving methodologies that allow for identifying causes and proposing robust and functional solutions.
• Develop and implement operational controls (CEO's, CEP, IET's, visual aids, equipment and/or control methods, etc.) that promote line continuity, product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Measure process and equipment performance to ensure line continuity, product quality, make operations more efficient and reduce costs.
• Participate in technology projects, implementing new products, equipment and/or processes that ensure the continuity of the line and product quality; increase operational efficiency, improve costs and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct AEM analysis, identify and execute improvement projects, to make operations more efficient and reduce costs.
• Measure CPKs and establish control limits that can ensure an operation that ensures process capability.
• Ensure compliance with External and Internal Regulations on Safety, Environment, Health and Property Security, guaranteeing the integrity of personnel, equipment and facilities, reporting substandard conditions – Be a driver and agent of change in the safety and environmental culture of the site, promoting significant improvements.
• Implement capital projects that support the above objectives, ensuring the efficient use of resources in terms of time, effectiveness and cost.
• Design and implement E&I elements to ensure line continuity and product quality.
• Use programming languages ​​to control and optimize automated processes that ensure line continuity and product quality.
• Use, maintain and manage process information systems with the aim of simplifying access and availability of information and results.
• Manages changes in control and/or information systems (DCS, PI Vision, MOC's).

Qualifications

• Education: Industrial Engineering, preferably Chemistry, Mechanics, Environmental, Electronics, Control, Mechatronics or similar.
• Advanced English ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge of extrusion and/or lamination processes is ESSENTIAL
• ≥ 2 years in engineering, production and/or quality areas. ESSENTIAL
• Quality and Environmental Standards (ISO - IATF);
• Knowledge of advanced statistical tools; knowledge of extrusion processes; Six Sigma training; analysis and problem solving; management systems.
