The Site Manager is the general manager for all site activities. As a result, they are the “face” of the company to site employees and the local community. In addition, the Site Manager is the champion for the site during interactions with corporate functions and business organizations.
The Site Manager ensures that the site is staffed with the appropriate resources necessary to achieve safe and reliable operations that fulfill business needs. This includes staying in compliance with corporate health, safety, environment and security policies.
To accomplish these challenges, the site manager is responsible for attracting, retaining and developing an engaged workforce. Finally, they set the tone for the work culture by role modeling the Eastman Advantage and expecting all employees to do likewise.
