What you’ll do

Reporting to the Process Engineering Team Lead, work in a dedicated team of process and automation engineers where you will contribute to the ongoing development and optimisation of our growing, state-of-the-art facility, delivering best-in-class solutions. Your responsibilities will include and not be limited to:

·Supporting the production and operations teams through the identification, planning and management of process improvement projects under 0.5 million to time and budget, including preparing validation protocols, documentation and completion of validation activities.

·Working in collaboration with cross functional departments, ensure your commitments to process continuous improvement and problem solving are delivered.

·Taking ownership of engineering issues effecting medicine delivery, escalating them appropriately and coordinating resolution activities between multiple stakeholders, while ensuring timely and compliant completion

·Pro-actively identify process improvements, develop proposals and implement change

·Develop and implement process risk assessments to improve the overall level of process control

·Working with automation engineers to come up with and deliver innovative ideas that will take this facility to the next level

Essential for the role

·Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical background with some exposure to statistical process control and a comprehensive understanding of Lean concepts, principles, and tools

·Production environment experience focusing on packaging equipment principles and operation.

Desirable for the role

·Knowledge of Aseptic Filling, Packaging and Labelling, and or Tablet Packaging

·Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and International cGMPs

·Familiarity with pharmaceutical processing and packaging equipment principles and operation
