We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our Catalyst team in Attapulgus, GA.

As a Reliability Engineer you will provide support to the site by developing and implementing reliable engineered systems as well as overseeing the implementation of a comprehensive multi-year “Reliability Plan”.

As a Reliability Engineer, you create chemistry by...

  • Analyzing the reasons for equipment failure and lead Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts. Participating in reliability related incident investigations; prioritizing action items and following-up on their implementation.  
  • Performing root cause analyses of equipment failures and developing/implementing corrective actions to address root causes, also performing/managing preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Developing equipment repair procedures and specifications necessary to improve plant and equipment reliability and supporting of all EH&S policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of maintenance and reliability work processes, such as centrifugal pumps, piping systems, pressure vessels (including heat exchangers), atmospheric storage tanks, positive displacement pumps, relief devices and compressors of various design.
  • Coordinating with maintenance, production, and storeroom personnel to establish and maintain the proper stocking levels of parts and equipment required to provide maximum equipment uptime at the lowest possible costs.
  • Being responsible for implementing Reliability methodologies like RBI, RCM, RCA and other reliability-based maintenance engineering principles and practices.  

If you...

  • Have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering (or similar).
  • Possess work experience in maintenance or reliability engineer in an industrial plant environment.
  • Have experience with formal reliability programs such as TPM, RCM, RCFA and experience developing, reviewing, and implementing strategic preventive and predictive maintenance programs and procedures. (preferred)
  • Have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Possess computer skills to include CMMS software (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office suite of products.
