  • playing a key role in the development of safe manufacturing processes
  • providing knowledge and direction in process safety, in the fields of both thermal stability and flammability hazards, to support Syngenta’s new product development and pilot plant manufacturing
  • contributing to the development of novel technologies and approaches relating to process safety
  • providing training and coaching in process safety to colleagues throughout the region

Qualifications

Extensive prior specialization in process safety is not essential, as you will be joining a group of globally recognised technical experts that will support your development in this area.  What we do require from you is:

  • Masters degree or equivalent in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Experience of Process Risk Assessment techniques (e.g. HAZOP) in the context of batch chemical processing
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English
