Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Process Engineer - Upstream to join our world-class Engineering team in St. Louis. Responsibilities:

• Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and productivity in the upstream manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with teams from different departments to ensure smooth execution of process development and technology transfer activities.
• Lead and support process scale-up and validation activities for new product introductions
• Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance process performance
• Generate and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and batch records

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in process engineering within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong understanding of upstream manufacturing processes and technologies
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to successfully implement process improvements
• Motivated individuals eager to excel in a dynamic and demanding work setting
