What do you contribute?

  • You will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the "Process and Reporting" engineering department with employees in Erlangen and Krefeld.
  • You will be responsible for the strategic further development and continuous adaptation of engineering-relevant processes, including consideration of interrelationships and influences.
  • In addition, you will drive these topics across the organization in a governance function for rolling stock engineering.
  • You are the contact person (f/m/d) for Rolling Stock Engineering employees with questions regarding process-related topics.
  • You identify synergy as well as optimization potentials based on problems and weak points for all aspects relevant in engineering and support with Lean / Agile methods.
  • You are responsible for developing and updating reporting and planning tools such as Sascia for resource planning, EN project costing and EN BA controlling as well as dash boards.
  • You develop standardized solutions for transparent strategic planning and reporting (resource scenarios, KPI, engineering reports, etc.) and support the implementation.
 

What do you bring along?

  • You have a master's degree or preferably a doctorate in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering.
  • You have many years of professional experience in engineering, ideally in rail vehicle construction, or alternatively in the development of complex products such as aero, ship or plant engineering.
  • Overarching knowledge in rail vehicle construction makes you our ideal candidate (f/m/d).
  • You bring knowledge and experience in Agile, Lean and process management as well as in strategic planning and reporting.
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in functional or disciplinary employee management.
  • You are experienced in working with international teams and different internal and external stakeholders.
  • You are business fluent in English, German language skills are a plus.
