Our client is ERG, a world leading developer, engineer and fabricator of large-scale air emission / pollution control technology used on a variety of power, chemical, food, waste water and environmental plants around the globe. Project values can reach £15M.

The business is currently looking for an experienced designer to lead the process engineering activities for studies, proposals and detailed fabrication and construction projects. With a strong background in the design and specification of major capital process systems, the appointee will lead the production of P&ID’s, material and energy balances, control philosophy, size equipment such as vessels, pumps, heat exchangers and piping etc. The appointee will be responsible for the technical output, project leadership and professional development of a team of 3. The role offers mid - term directorship potential.  

Experience of equipment process design leadership is essential; exposure to gas processing and gas treatment technology is highly desirable.

Key qualifications and competencies:

•Degree in chemical or process engineering

•Chartered engineer status

•Substantial experience of equipment process design for chemical process plants ideally with specialist exposure to gas scrubbing technologies or related environmental process systems.

•Professional engineer able to influence technical decisions and understand the commercial context of process engineering within projects

.•Full driving licence & valid passport

•Right to work in the UK
