This is the role

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for developing strategic projects for our Botlek and Maasvlakte production sites. By leading the multidisciplinary team involved in the frond-end-loading phases of projects to support the long term profitability and sustainability of the production sites. 
Analyzing various options and advising integral solutions is not something you have to do all alone. You work closely together with our business teams, site engineers, LYB R&D, in-house and external engineering companies. You have the responsibility to judge potential projects on feasibility and make proposals to management. In order to be a reliable advisor, you need to stay in close contact with the LyondellBasell business teams, analyze the data of production and systems and set up models of optimization. 
Based on our Global Operational Excellence models, you’re able to set and review standards and guidelines to reach the ultimate production process improvements.

This is what you bring

• A Master’s degree in chemical engineering;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a comparable field of work;
• Fluent English and Dutch.
