This is the role

The Lead Process Engineer is a very diversified role, you will lead a team of process engineers supporting the daily operation of our manufacturing organization. Next to daily operation you will also manage process engineering activities for capital projects. 

You work closely together with our business teams, site engineers, engineering companies. You are part of the site supervision team responsible for daily operation of the manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the process engineering activities for the daily support of the manufacturing organization as well as process engineering support for capital projects;
• Manage and develop a team of plant support engineers, expert engineers and contractors (5-8); 
• Technical advisor of the area assuring quality of technical services including the MOC process;
• Advising plant management on (complex) technical issues;
• Part of the site supervision team responsible for daily operation of the manufacturing site;
• Focal point for a specific technology (POTBA,C4BDO or POSM);
• Responsible for front end loading activities for (capital) projects in line with sites long range plan (LRP)

This is what you bring

• A Master’s degree in chemical engineering;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a comparable field of work;
• Experience in leading teams;
• Experience in preferably operations and technology;
• Fluent English and Dutch.
