RESPONSIBILITIES

The Global Project Engineering unit is responsible for the planning of our global investment projects, from the coordination of concepts to implementation at our sites. We support our business units worldwide in investment projects, starting with the concept development and the preparation of the planning documents to the construction and commissioning of the plants.

• A typical entry-level opportunity is Conceptual Process Design, in which you take responsibility for the process engineering and equipment development of the plant concepts.
• Together with experts from other fields, you will design the technical concepts of the process and develop possibilities for energy and economic optimization.
• To do this, you use modern simulation tools for thermodynamic or event-based, time- discrete modeling. 
• The project units offer you the opportunity to experience the opportunity to realize large investment projects as a process engineer after the concept phase.
• You will always be part of an interdisciplinary and mostly intercultural project team and use the latest digital tools to implement a workflow tailored to the respective project.

QUALIFICATIONS

• degree (M.Sc, diploma, doctorate) in the field of process engineering or chemical engineering
• ideally, initial experience in the conceptual design of chemical plants
• in-depth knowledge of process engineering separation operations
• initial experience with tools for process simulation or engineering
• analytical and structured way of working in order to be able to respond to the wishes of your customers and advise them in the best possible way
• confident, targeted and clear communication in German and English in order to be able to convey even complex issues in an understandable way
