Our client is a leading developer of drying and evaporation technology used by a wide range of manufacturing sectors including food, pharmaceuticals, biofuels, and polymers. The systems, entailing complex heat transfer, thermal and mass -transfer design issues, are engineered to exacting standards and often reach capital values above £10 M.

The business, enjoying significant client demand, is now looking to appoint a senior proposal process engineer. This is a role that would suit an academically strong and vocationally experienced chemical engineer, ideally, from within the equipment supply sector.

The position will be a developing and evolving one, with significant levels of training and exposure to a variety of functions and activities. These will include analysing client enquiries, producing designs including P+ ID’s, mass /energy balances, data sheets  generating manpower and material estimates and collating and submitting fully technically and financially justified proposals. There may also be opportunities for project, site work and travel.
