Our client develops, engineers, fabricates, supplies, and installs discreet process equipment items and complete process systems for applications within chemical /process engineering. The company’s reputation is well established and founded on its commitment to product innovation, customer service and engineering excellence.

The focus of the role would include work on dryers and evaporation systems involving complex and challenging thermal and mass-transfer issues.

On the job training would be provided for the following activities supervised by a senior engineer. Application for Chartership would be supported.

·         Analysis of process data from clients and test data from our pilot plant

·         On site plant audits

·         Preparation of heat and mass balances using our bespoke software

·         Equipment sizing

·         Project costing

·         Preparation of Sales proposals

·         Preliminary PFD & P&ID preparation

Also, there would be some participation on project work as follows

·         Detail process design

·         Preparation of functional descriptions and cause and effect matrices

·         HAZOPS

·         Commissioning

·         Troubleshooting

The work will be office based in support of our client’s sales team. However, some travel will be expected as the appointee becomes more experienced.

Knowledge of other European languages is desirable.
