With our extensive range of facilities and environments, our Engineers have opportunities across many diverse areas including Chemical, Automation, Capital Projects, Maintenance, Safety, Process Development, Technical Services, Utilities and Validation.

 

The Senior Specialist Engineer will independently or as a team leader, plan, design, and implement varied technical projects and investigations requiring knowledge of engineering and/or the physical sciences.

 

The role requires expertise and full application of sound scientific principles, theories, concepts, techniques, and project management skills, as well as a working knowledge of our Company's methods, standards, procedures, and practice

 

The incumbent is expected to collect and interpret information and develop solutions to projects of various scopes. The incumbent will be expected to plan, schedule, and assign work to the professional staff to resolve day to day technical issues within the Manufacturing area. The incumbent will report to the Technical Operations Director or to a M2/P4 Engineer. 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related areas of study. (Chemical Engineering preferred)

 

Experience and Skills:

  • At least 5 years experience in pharmaceutical or related industry.

 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with API manufacturing, SAP functionality, Automated Control Systems, Process Validation, and Change Control
