The state-of-the-art multi-purpose manufacturing facility is crafted for large-scale production of biologics and has high expansion potential. After completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs.
Technical Responsibilities
Effectively lead and manage the required deliverables within the scope of an assigned project
Liaise with Thermo Fisher internal stakeholders services to ensure all needs are met
Review and challenge design done by third party design companies
Prioritize and coordinate activities within assigned field of responsibility
Ensure adherence to project budget for assigned scope and manage changes per defined project change control process
Support development of project schedules with timelines and interdependencies for all tasks
Ensure projects are closed out properly following completion, including summary reports and lessons learned to be applied
Responsibility and accountability for working according to cGxP and EHSS requirements as laid out in the Thermo Fisher SOPs and procedures as well as all relevant external / governmental guidance
Education & Experience
Minimum Bachelor's degree or local equivalent in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering
Bachelor's degree + 5 years experience or Master's degree + 2 years in the engineering field, preferably in the pharmaceutical, food, or chemical process industry.
Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility.
Experience of multi-cultural work environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably German or another European language
