The Process Manager will manage the Process Engineer function on a day to basis. The Process
Engineering team support all the manufacturing functions at the Inchinnan campus across the multiple divisions and product stream which are manufactured and shipped from the site. The Process Engineering
manager will coordinate and manage a team of multi skilled engineers to drive process improvement and development to ensure we continue to deliver growth and efficiency while maintaining product integrity and through safety.
The Process Engineering Manager will deputies on behalf on the Engineering Manager when and if required and therefore must exhibit the correct behaviors and knowledge to participate in site and network strategy discussions.
The primary function of the Process Engineering Manager is to lead and develop the process engineering team deliver processes and equipment which drive site Key metrics for Safety ,Quality, Customer & People.
Responsible for day to day running process engineering team to deliver world class support to the Manufacturing processes at inchinnan
Mentors and coaches the team in order to develop a stronger more flexible function
Leads in the development of the current and new processes within the site through leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives in engineering and across functions
Deputize for Engineering manager and when required lead daily tasks and work with the Senior leadership team in developing the strategic plans for the site.
Engages with customers facing audits as subject matter expert for Process Engineering
Provide technical expertise and knowledge to manufacturing group and beyond.
Executes and explains policies and processes. Accountable for functional deliverables and results.
Manages a team Multiskilled direct reports
Drive continuous improvement throughout the site and assist in the completion and planning of capital projects and report out status Site leadership and beyond
Work closely with Quality Production, Technical and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve quality related issues arising from customer complaints/concerns and internal incidents
Significant experience of mentoring, Coaching and developing teams in order to develop the correct culture and skillset to be successful
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working Knowledge of CMMS systems
Strong leadership skills
Excellent knowledge of computer packages including ERP systems , Minitab , Microsoft project , CMMS
Must be a self-starter who can take general concepts and direction and produce desirable results. Also must function effectively and efficiently in a global, multi-site organization.
Ability to learn and develop current skills and behaviours to progress within the function and lead by example
Excellent Technical knowledge of process equipment & systems
Knowledge of process excellence techniques including lean , Six sigma and SPC
Excellent knowledge of Validation processes ( IQ/OQ/PQ) and current regulatory requirements related to ISO13485/FDA CFR.
