Our client is a successful and growing design and engineering house boasting an impressive, established track record in the development of GMP manufacturing facilities for a wide range of international clients. The business’s current portfolio of projects includes modifications, technology transfer and roll out schemes, shutdowns and turnarounds, major CAPEX, feasibility studies and complete master plans. The organisation has recently been awarded a mix of engineering studies and medium sized completion work requiring the services of a Lead /Principal process engineer. With a background in leading the design in primary and secondary biochemical and pharmaceutical hygienic process systems, the job holder will generate and interpret scopes, generate mass and entropy balances, flow sheets and equipment specifications, undertake HAZOPS , produce start up and commissioning documentation etc. Experience of process development and detailed design within the up and downstream GMP sector acquired with an engineer and, ideally, operating company is highly desirable.
