This is a senior level appointment for an expert in refinery operations, development and technology. Leading major studies and major client accounts, the job holder will execute an exciting caseload of work involving operational improvement and optimisation studies , unit and plant benchmarking, automation ,digitisation and simulation reviews ,the evaluation and redesign of existing major units ,technology assessment and recommendation , new project process design and process review and investigating and researching major / long term operating problems etc,etc.,
Candidates must be able to offer expert knowledge of core processes and units including hydroprocessing, treatments, cracking, etc. Expert insight into other specialist technologies such as alkylation, bitumen, lubes, reforming and such like would extremely welcome. In addition to strong operational technical insight, candidates must be capable of producing, reviewing and packaging designs for small and large scale project developments including the determination of the process and, in conjunction with others, the selection of licensors.
