Job Description

Why is

Through structured, continuous improvement of the environment, processes and systems, we want to make complex production processes more efficient in order to increase our productivity and flexibility. We use WCM (World Class Manufacturing), a production system with the aim of raising production standards and eliminating production waste.

As a Process Improvement Engineer (improvement engineer) at the Heppenheim location, you are responsible for the continuous improvement and increase in efficiency of our production processes. You will continuously monitor and analyze the production key figures and derive potential for improvement from them. Based on the WCM methods, you set the necessary priorities and are responsible for the implementation of the projects in order to realize the identified improvements.

Your tasks

  • Continuous analysis of production key figures and identification of improvement potential

  • Preparation and independent processing of various improvement projects and responsibility for the successful completion

  • Coordination of the implementation of the technical changes

  • Informal leadership of multifunctional teams on strategic alignment

  • Ensuring the necessary flow of information between the individual departments

  • Stakeholder-Management

  • Documentation and tracking of the projects using the WCM methodology

  • Tracking of project success through KPI measurement

  • Contact to internal and external international auditors including presentation of the results in English

  • Creation and implementation of training modules for employees

your profile

  • Completed studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, production engineering, nutritional science or food technology) or state-certified technician/industry/master craftsman or comparable

  • A high degree of autonomy for independent and proactive processing of project activities

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A conceptual, methodical and independent way of working

  • Hands on mentality

  • Very good language skills in German and English (fluent in spoken and written)

  • Safe handling of MS Office (especially Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
