About the Job 

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Engineer in Flow Assurance to join our team in Perth. As a Consultant Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to manage studies and technical services for our clients.

 

Reporting to the Study Manager – Flow Assurance, you will be responsible for coordinating all discipline personnel and executing flow assurance studies. You will ensure the satisfactory performance on a project, implementing any necessary action to maintain the standard of work and performance.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering technical services within competency limits, in line with applicable standards and regulations to our clients.
  • Monitoring new technology developments and ensure that where appropriate these are addressed in study execution.
  • Supporting the Study Manager – Flow Assurance in the identification of opportunities and initiate and attend discussions with clients as required.
  • Reviews job scope and provides estimates and schedules.
  • Communicates project deliverables and recommendations written and oral presentations and technical reports
  • Provides support to younger engineers and mentor assigned personnel.

 

About You

We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering, Chartered Engineers Australia preferred.

Languages: English (Fluent)

  • A passion for Flow Assurance, within a consultancy setting. 
  • A minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in flow assurance.
  • Proven experience managing studies preferred
  • Ability to assess key uncertainties impacting production system development,
  • Prepare production systems design basis and specifications, 
  • Sound technical knowledge across all disciplines 
  • Good team leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Strong analytical and judgmental skills to find and implement proactive solutions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to persuade effectively
  • Organised, efficient and an effective team player.
