The Engineering Team Lead will develop and guide the process engineering team for the 3GT Flex and FMP platforms to be successful in a variety of engineering functions, including; process monitoring and improvement, complex troubleshooting, capacity expansion, process validation, and NPI design transfer to manufacturing. Ensures that manufacturing equipment and processes perform to planned targets. Takes a leadership position in coordinating efforts between engineering groups, safety, operations, quality, and other functional groups. Works closely with other engineering teams in the development and application of expert troubleshooting of equipment, processes, and materials. Is a strong advocate for continuous improvement of technology and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develops and guides the 3GT Flex and FMP platform Process Engineering team to meet business goals and objectives for the assigned manufacturing platforms.
  2. Coaches team in development of technical metrics and dashboards (yield, process capability, cycle time, OEE, etc.) for assigned manufacturing platforms.
  3. Promotes culture of innovation and continuous improvement to reduce manufacturing costs, increase production efficiency, and improve process capability.
  4. Ensures that team members follow all regulatory and company guidelines related to Quality, Compliance, EHS&S, and Financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or equivalent B.S. degree is required
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in an engineering field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a regulated manufacturing industry
  • 2+ years of experience leading projects is required
  • Demonstrated ability to both independently perform, and coaching others to perform: validation documentation, nonconformance investigation, project business case development, and data analytics
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to lead multiple assignments or projects with sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence with and without authority
  • Preferred Six Sigma and FPx certification
