Your area of responsibility:
- Assist our site teams in identifying and developing reference cases for project appraisal
- You support our appraisal team in identifying new project options
- They design the technical scope of project options and make a robust selection for their implementation based on the criteria of security and cost-effectiveness
- After selecting the best project option, you will be responsible for the technical definition through to the development of a preliminary FEED package
- In addition, you will support our teams in the areas of “Define” and “Execute” with your procedural expertise
- In all your activities, we expect your proactive, independent and well-founded contributions in the problem areas of cost calculation, profitability and security
What you should bring with you:
- A university degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or a comparable course
- At least 5 years of professional experience in process engineering preferably in refinery plants
- Very good knowledge of the operating processes and the relevant operating standards in the refinery or petrochemical industry
- Good knowledge of using common process simulation software
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English is required
- Verifiable intercultural skills and the ability to communicate effectively across departmental and organizational boundaries
