Job Summary:

As an experienced Process or Chemical Engineer, you will be leading the design and management of a wide range of projects for our demanding food and dairy industry clients.  Responsibilities include designing innovative processes, modifying or optimising equipment and increasing process efficiency.  The role also involves site supervision of projects, so you’ll be available to travel.  This role offers challenging problems to solve, exposure to a variety of processes and the opportunity to work with well-known brands and clients.

About the Company:

PDV Consultants is one of the leading global process engineering and project management consultancies, with offices in New Zealand and Europe.  Just like our reputation, we are a constantly growing organisation with a dedicated and passionate team of engineers who are committed to growing along with us.

About you:

This role will suit experienced process engineers who are looking for career growth and more challenging projects.  An ideal candidate will have;

  • Between 2 – 6 years process and/or chemical engineering experience
  • Experience with feasibility studies, concept design, costing and project management
  • A genuine passion for engineering, a “can-do” attitude and strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience within the dairy or food processing industries would be advantageous, but not essential
  • A relevant chemical/process engineering qualification

Benefits of joining the PDV Consultants team:

At PDV Consultants, we strive to offer a range of benefits that align with our values.

  • Excellence: A competitive salary goes without saying, but we also contributions to retirement savings, discretionary bonuses for exceptional performance and wellness benefits such as flu vaccinations.
  • Teamwork: In addition to working with our experienced team and team building days, you’ll appreciate opportunities to join social sports teams or the regular Friday Lunch Club.
  • Integrity: We trust our team, so there are no expense claims or receipts required here – just an allowance to cover your needs and that recognises the inconvenience of being away from home and family.
  • Innovation: Your professional development is as important to us as it is to you – that’s why we’ve created our in-house CAD and Chem Clubs, which are supported by paid professional membership (e.g., IChemE) and a structured professional development planning process
  • Fun: From puzzles to the chill zone, and fresh fruit and nuts, our cafeteria area is designed with your relaxation in mind and it’s a place where the (sometimes bad) jokes flow freely.
