Organization

 

Raw materials are converted into filled medicines in our production departments. The product goes through various production steps (weighing, formulation, preparation, freeze-drying, filling, capping, inspection, packaging and then storage & transport). Every day, more than 1 million injectable drugs and vaccines are produced and packaged at our site.

 

Department

 

This position is located in the packaging department of the Center for Secondary Packaging (CSP). The various medicines & vaccines are assembled and packaged in CSP. As a Process Engineer Packaging, you and the team are responsible for the efficiency, quality and uniformity of the production process. You are responsible for optimizing the packaging processes and implementing changes on the packaging lines.

Task package:

  • You participate in the daily production meeting. You analyze data from the past 24 hours and take actions to get the process output of the lines under your responsibility back on target.
  • In the role of Continuous Improvement Lead you are responsible for identifying, analyzing and eliminating bottlenecks and yield losses. You work together with the Process Centric Team on medium-term improvements
  • Assisting and coordinating activities during technical breakdowns
  • Performing and documenting root cause investigations in case of quality deviations
  • Implementing small and large changes to the existing equipment within the due date. This ranges from technical optimizations to validating new products or packaging presentations

Function profile:

MUST

  • Master degree: industrial engineer, civil engineer, bio engineer or equivalent through experience
  • Interested and strong with technology
  • Communicative with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong in (technical) documentation of changes according to GMP rules
  • Organized, accurate and able to work independently
  • Perfect command of Dutch and English
