Job Description
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures the operability, reliability and integrity of the assigned assets
Manages the maintenance activities related to inspection, repairs, and large turn arounds of the assigned assets; initiates, monitors and tracks work orders
Plans, executes, and monitors larger investments; participates in the planning and execution of major investments in her/his area of responsibility
Identifies and evaluates deficiencies and bottlenecks and develops technical concepts for their resolution
Conducts troubleshooting of asset and process problems
Observes technical rules and regulations and implements technical best practices
Keeps and updates the technical documentation and records
Coordinates the internal and external service providers
Identifies, evaluates, and implements knowledge and good practice transfer between the plant engineers
WHO YOU ARE
Education: An engineer with a degree in a technical discipline (Technician, BSc, MSc or advanced)
Related Experience: At least 5-10 years combined experience in engineering and/or manufacturing; Knowledge in technical good practices and standards;
Proven track record of working in project and/or maintenance roles (including turn around) within the chemical industry
Core Competencies: Strong technical and economical competencies;
Good communication and project management skills;
Good leadership skills, able to steer a team; Good knowledge of engineer tools and skills in technical software; Good understanding of supporting processes associated with operations & maintenance of a plant;
Local language as well as very good English skills
