We are constantly seeking the brightest and creative talent to join team Dow as a Process Engineer to strengthen our team in Terneuzen, the Netherlands, Dow’s second largest manufacturing site worldwide. This role aligns to Dow's Design Your Day approach and allows you and offers role-based flexible work.

About you

As a Process Engineer you provide a technical resource to project teams and/or provide expertise in specific fields, tools, or theories. Next to that, you will provide solutions which add value through improvements in work process, unit operations, operating conditions and/or process technology.

This role requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline. The successful candidate will be expected to quickly learn and effectively apply the Dow work processes, standards, and best practices.

Also, you can complete each of the following tasks:

• You apply Global Project Methodology (GPM) and Process Engineering Work Process Discipline.
• You ensure that the project scope is well defined and meets the business needs in a cost-effective manner.
• You ensure that the process design is safe, meets DOW standards and other EH&S requirements.
• You drive project execution within your respective discipline.
• You provide input to project schedule and plans, and monitors progress against the plans.
• You ensure that process design deliverables meet the needs of the project including functioning as intended, on time and within budget.
• You identify technical issues, both within designs and existing operations. Appropriately engage the business and functional technology center and the subject matter expert (SME) network to resolve the issues.

Required qualifications:

• You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering. 
• You are either a fresh graduate or you have 3 years or more of relevant experience (i.e., engineering, manufacturing or related)
• You are fluent in English.

Your preferred qualifications include:

• You are preferably knowledgeable of the Dutch language.

Your skills, knowledge, and abilities include:

• Great interpersonal relationship and time-management skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
