Our client is a highly prestigious practice providing commercial support to the international LNG, LPG and NGL markets. Working for banks, investors, government agencies, operating companies and sovereign states, the organisation enjoys an exceptional reputation in assisting M&A, undertaking price, supply, and demand forecasting, performing engineering, technology and asset due diligence and feasibility studies, advising on the creation of regulatory frameworks, product and asset development/relocation planning and manufacturing efficiency benchmarking, etc. This varied and intellectually demanding opportunity will suit a highly numerate graduate with an exceptional degree (or equivalent), in Chemical Engineering from a leading Institution and an interest in business analysis and commerce rather than design. Some relevant post qualification experience in industry and particularly hydrocarbons would be welcome. The role will offer significant travel and represents, arguably, a technically broader and more customer facing alternative for high calibre chemical engineering juniors than a traditional I.O.C. appointment.
