Abou t this role 
The primary focus of the Senior Process Engineer is to Lead the Process design activities on water and wastewater projects and support the Design Manager or Project Manager on larger water infrastructure projects.   
You will work across the full spectrum of project phases from helping our clients make informed decisions, through to designing and delivering water infrastructure.  You will be responsible for delivering designs for projects, delivering strategic advice, developing business cases and provide technical engineering design input throughout the project lifecycle

What will I do?

• Leading process design activities on water and wastewater projects
• Working on full spectrum of projects, consulting clients on activities relating to process engineering
• Working without supervision, referring up as necessary.  In achieving this you will be responsible for meeting deadlines, monitoring budges and controlling expenditure to meet financial targets in your own area.
• Representing Arup at internal and external events and you may be responsible for designing and delivering events, activities and projects which impact the business.
• Overseeing the performance and development of others through providing guidance, training, direction and feedback.

What will I bring?

• Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering or similar area.
• Relevant industry experience in Water, Wastewater or Desalination within a consulting business environment.
• Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
• Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments.
