Job Description

Fluor Mannheim is a subsidiary of Fluor Coperation.
As a service provider in engineering, we carry out medium-sized and small investment projects in the form of new plant construction, as well as conversion, expansion and additions to existing plants. The disciplines required for this are available in our office in Mannheim, so that the project can be carried out in an interdisciplinary manner as an overall project.

You will be responsible for quality, deadlines and budgets within the scope of projects. You will work in a dynamic team in which the company's competencies in technology, process design and project management are used efficiently to offer Fluor's customers sophisticated solutions in all areas. They are cross-project contacts for technical questions and support young colleagues.
Your tasks
• Close cooperation with the project managers/engineers and other departments.
• Active support and advice to customers on new projects
• Editing/creating process flow diagrams and R&I.
• Creation of specifications for equipment and instrumentation.
• Editing/creating concepts for system control and cause and effect.
• Presentation of the load cases and determination of bottlenecks
• Participation in design and safety reviews
• Preparation of project documents for submission to the responsible authority
• Preparation and evaluation of studies (SIL, HAZOP etc.)
• Interface to the customer when commissioning the system and project completion
• Support with Preparation of offers for new projects
• Technical guidance and coaching of young colleagues

Basic Job Requirements

• Degree as Bachelor / Master / Dipl.-Ing. (TH/FH) in the field of chemical engineering, process engineering or chemical engineering or a comparable course
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in the fields of chemistry and/or petrochemistry
• Ideally experience in leading small teams or pronounced leadership skills
• Very good German - and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of process simulation (Aspen, PRO/II, Hysis) and heat exchanger design with HTRI
• Strong customer orientation and very good communication skills
• Independent, project and service-oriented way of working
• Good assertiveness and high willingness to assume responsibility
• Distinctive social skills and ability to work in a team.
• High level of commitment, flexibility and willingness to travel
