Job Description

The Project & Process Engineer is responsible for carrying out the technical and process support activities of the plants and developing the various engineering phases for all the process machines, responding to the needs of internal customers to engineer improvements to and / or adaptations of existing machines to the needs of the business. He also collaborates with the New Product Introduction team to study new process technologies where required by new products and manages, if necessary, specific area projects as Project Manager. Finally, it oversees the technological and methodological knowledge typical of the discipline and acts as a specialist interface to external regulatory bodies.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Verification and control of critical process and machine parameters
  • Resolution, together with Production, Maintenance and Quality, of technical problems relating to the functionality of production machines
  • Application of troubleshooting and problem solving techniques to support the resolution of process deviations and introduction of standard methods for the resolution of recurrent deviations.
  • Definition of technical specifications for the modification of existing plants and / or the purchase of new machines
  • Participation, together with the Procurement unit, in commercial purchase negotiations and the drafting of the contract with suppliers
  • Typical activities of the Project Engineer: technical discussion of the solutions proposed by suppliers, responsibility for FAT / SAT and IQ / OQ activities as well as for the installation of equipment in the plant


Why you?


Basic Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience of at least 3 years in the field of process plants;
  • Master's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and problem solving techniques;
  • Experience in managing internal or external work teams.
