Job Description

Our unit Process Safety works together with the Catalyst teams to protect our people, plants, communities and reputation from the hazards of our processes and products.

  • You will develop global plant safety concepts and provide the appropriate process safety level expertise for participation, review as well as approval of initial site plant safety concepts and clean sheet reviews.
  • As well, you will provide incident investigation support, including analysis of incident root cause data, development of effective measures to prevent recurrence and the communication of key lessons learned.
  • Furthermore, you will deliver specific process safety trainings for the community and therefore provide the technical content.
  • You will identify, collect and validate necessary information to communicate to the stakeholders within the unit.
  • Moreover, you will monitor changes in regulatory requirements and provide applicability analysis to units's sites and businesses.




  • bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or science as well as a professional certification in engineering or safety
  • experience in manufacturing with an understanding of chemical processing and technologies
  • regulatory and technical expertise is desired
  • experienced regarding the implementation of process safety programs
  • excellent communication skills and fluent in German as well as in English and intercultural competence
