Job Description

The Process Research and Chemical Engineering Division brings together a variety of competencies, including inorganic chemistry, organic synthesis, battery materials research, catalysis, process development and technology, as well as technical services for laboratories/technical centers. In interdisciplinary global teams, we develop innovative products, processes and technologies for a sustainable future and work with internal partners and customers.


From the idea to the profitable process: Process Development Nutrition & Health develops processes to produce, for example, vitamins or flavor ingredients and is the link between research, plant engineering and production from the conceptualization to the laboratory and pilot phase to realization. With an eye for the big picture as well as for details, you independently define and initiate projects in the Nutrition & Health area.

  • You control, documents and evaluate progress in the project and coordinate the transfer of results to the pilot plant, production and other units.
  • You approach innovative research topics with enthusiasm and thus contribute to the further development of our field of work.
  • With the help of your responsible way of working, you will ensure compliance with work, safety and environmental protection regulations.
  • With a great deal of commitment, you will build up a network within research as well as with production, technology, engineering and marketing.




  • degree in process engineering, chemical engineering or technical chemistry, ideally supplemented by a doctorate
  • sound experience in process development
  • initiative as well as independent working style and confident communication skills in German and English
