Objectives:

Conduct experimental research work in Polyurethane chemistry under the guidance of research scientist. Support the innovation process and scientific work in finding technical solutions for Polyurethane formulation research.

Main Tasks:

• Under general supervision of lab team leader perform routine scientific research tasks mostly using standard techniques, procedures and equipment
• Analyze and document results, prepare technical reports, examinations and summaries
• Proactively adapt and optimize methods, procedures and workflow
• Comply with regulations concerning safety, health and environment and perform general lab assignments (e.g. raw material inventory review, lab housekeeping) as assigned
• Contribute to technical solution finding process within the scope of existing technologies and procedures, Gain and maintain familiarity with relevant current scientific literature

Requirements:

• Education: Master or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, materials science & engineering, polymer science & engineering. Preferably with Organic chemistry background with synthesis experience in chemical lab.
• Working Experience: At least 2 - 3 years of experience in conducting scientific experiments in lab (including study period); good technical knowledge on polymer chemistry; experience in Polyurethane chemistry would be plus.
• Strong inter-personal communication skills, good English communication (reading, writing, and speaking) and strong hands-on ability
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
