Then we might be the right fit for you! Come and join our Technical Expertise & Support Engineering Team@DOW in Böhlen Germany (near Leipzig)! We are currently looking for your expertise as a Process Engineer (m/f/d).


In this role, you will become part of the DOW TES Organization. Your responsibilities:

  • Process development for thermal-chemical processes and mechanical process engineering
  • Development of process concepts for new plants and optimization of existing plants
  • Creation of process engineering concepts as well as mass and energy balances
  • Technological evaluation of process modifications
  • Process simulation with different commercial software (e.g. Aspen)
  • Processing of process and P&I flow diagrams and process description
  • Dimensioning/process engineering design and specification of equipment, machines, pipelines as well as instruments, fittings, pumps
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation (process automation, design engineering, maintenance, R&D)
  • Plant engineering evaluation for process safety (risk assessment, safety analysis, overpressure protection, explosion protection)
  • Involvement in Process Safety Risk Assessments
  • Support for the official approval procedure

Your requirements:

  • University or compared degree in process engineering or similar
  • Organizational talent and flexibility
  • A high level of problem-solving competence both on an interpersonal and technical level
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Proactive and independent working style
  • Team player
  • Excellent German and good English language skills
